Open Practice Information for 2009/ 2010 Season!

We are  looking for several good players to help the team move to the next level.  Come to an Open Practice and check us out!

FC Dallas OPEN PRACTICE Schedule-
June 9-11; June 16-18 & June 23-25 
(Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday each of the next 3 weeks!)

Location:  Boles Jr. High School; Arlington, TX
7:00pm until 8:30 pm

BRITTANY BARAKAT

Brittany has been coaching competive soccer for 5 years.
As a soccer player, she had many accomplishments:

On the Youth National Team for 6 years

Attended the U-14 National Training Camp in 1998. Based on her performance, she was moved UP into the 1983 Region III Team. She was selected into the U-16 National Team.

She was on the winning team of the Region III Championship.

She was on the United States Youth Soccer National All-Star Team traveling all over the world, including Brazil.

1999 Arlington Morning News “Newcomer of the Year” • 1999 Ft. Worth Star Telegram “All area Newcomer of the Year”

1999 District 7-5A All District Player of the Year

4 Year All District Team Member

2001 TASC All State Team

2002 District 7-5A Most Valuable Player

2002 Dallas Morning News All-Area Team Member • Martin High School Offensive Player of the Year • Holds Martin High School Season record for most goals scored • 2002 PARADE Magazine All-America Team Member

2002 TEXAS Gatorade High School Player of the year

University of Connecticut (UCONN) • As a Freshman, scored the ONLY GOAL in the NCAA Division I tournament against Florida State 70 SECONDS INTO THE MATCH to get UCONN to the Final 4. • As a Freshman, named to UCONN’s Classic All Tournament Team • As a Freshman, scored 2 of the 3 goals against Seton Hall and was named Big East Offensive Player of the week

In November, 2002, named to the Big East All Rookie Team

In January 2003, named to Soccer America’s Freshman All Star Team

In 2003, scored the GAME WINNER in a 2-1 OVERTIME victory against UNDEFEATED Boston College
